The Always Forward Project

With deep sadness, we mourned the passing of Coach Arthur W. Iworsley on December 31, 2016. Coach Iworsley was a founder of The Always Forward Project. His death comes just as we begin to work on this vision we share with Arthur. He would have certainly preferred to honor others. We believe, though, that every person whose life was touched by Coach Iworsley would agree that he is exactly the sort of educator we had in mind when we formulated our mission.

Arthur Iworsley loved every moment of his lengthy career in Andover, Massachusetts as a high school track coach and elementary school physical education teacher. A long time volunteer at Boston’s Museum of Science, Arthur is a member of the Massachusetts Track Coaches Hall of Fame and a former Massachusetts Physical Education Teacher of the Year. Arthur Iworsley was nominated and voted upon as an Always Forward Project honoree on January 1, 2017 by his fellow directors.
